We are hiring for our prestigious restoration company that services Greater Vancouver. We work on exciting and interesting projects and are looking to add a Mold Specialist/Manager to the team. We are seeking an experienced Mold specialist to help us lead, recruit and grow our mold department. This is an incredible opportunity for personal and financial growth for an individual with a strong mold background combined with natural business development and leadership abilities.


Qualifications & Competencies

  • Develop and review scopes of work to ensure accuracy of work as well as labour and materials required for completing the job.
  • Estimate and schedule jobs
  • Recruit staff for the Division
  • Conduct site meetings with subcontractors and homeowners
  • Ensure accurate reporting of projects and that all documents are current, complete, and stored appropriately
  • Ensure clients are paying on time
  • Project file management
  • Ensure all relevant safety standards are being followed according to WorkSafe BC requirements
  • Monitoring / guiding execution of each job
  • Responding to Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, etcetera
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Review and interpret reports
  • Do stock-taking and ordering of supplies
  • IICRC Certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (Preferred)
  • Min 2 years’ abatement experience with an environmental solutions company or a restoration company
  • Minimum of 2 years scoping mold projects
  • Fluent in Mold and Asbestos Protocols, Reporting and Documentation
  • Experience working with mold abatement in both residential and commercial buildings
  • Familiar with Work Safe BC Health & Safety regulations
  • Xactimate knowledge would be a bonus
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Competent in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
