The Role
We are looking for an organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team as Human Resources Leader at our Delta, BC office.
Responsibilities
- Orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Review and update employee manual ensuring it meets regulatory requirements
- Manage the online HR program
- Administer enrollments and changes to benefits plans
- Primary point of contact for all HR queries
- Maintains and updates confidential employee records and information Support talent acquisition throughout the Company by preparing job descriptions for posting to recruitment websites and social media platforms as required and pre screen qualified candidates
- Prepare and send job offers to successful candidates
- Facilitate disciplinary actions when required including discharge if warranted
- Maintain and update office directory and org chart to reflect current employees and roles
- Performs other administrative and HR duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role
- Post-secondary studies in HR Management
- Certification(s) in human resources management is preferred
- Full understanding of Provincial Employment Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material in a professional manner
- Good organizational abilities and careful attention to detail
- Experience interviewing candidates for various roles
- Experience in Health & Safety protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); training on Easypay Payroll software will be provided
